A delegation from the Afghanistan Food and Drug Authority (AFDA) recently visited and inspected C2C Pharma Ltd. as part of the regulatory evaluation process for pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality compliance.

The inspection was conducted to assess the company’s manufacturing standards, quality assurance systems, regulatory compliance, and overall operational capabilities in accordance with international pharmaceutical guidelines. During the visit, the AFDA delegation toured several key sections of the manufacturing facility, including production units, quality control laboratories, warehousing, and documentation systems.

Md. Anwar Hossain, Head of Marketing of C2C Pharma coordinated the AFDA team. Md. Rasel Uddin Shah, Head of Quality Operations welcomed the AFDA inspectors and Mohammed Raihan Chowdhury, Head of Quality Assurance provided detailed presentations regarding the company’s quality compliance system for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), product safety, and continuous quality improvement. The inspection team reviewed operational procedures, validation systems, and quality management practices implemented by the company.

Mr. Anis Uz Zaman, Director and CEO & Md. Golam Mustafa, Consultant of C2C Pharma were also present during the inspection activities and discussions with the AFDA delegation. He highlighted the company’s dedication to maintaining high-quality pharmaceutical production standards and expanding its presence in international markets.

Representatives of C2C Pharma Ltd. expressed their appreciation for the visit and emphasized the importance of strengthening pharmaceutical cooperation between Bangladesh and Afghanistan. The company stated that such international inspection reflects growing confidence in Bangladesh’s pharmaceutical manufacturing sector and its ability to meet global standards.
